Home > What is Collaborative Law?
Collaborative Law is a process which aims to support couples who wish to work together to reach a fair solution and minimise the pain of family breakdown. Each of you having your Collaborative Lawyer on hand throughout the negotiations and discussions means that not only are you able to get independent legal advice throughout the process, but you also benefit from the fact that your lawyers have been trained to settle disputes in a collaborative way.
The Collaborative Law process offers an alternative to Court based solutions and is fundamentally changing the way people think about family law. It can work for anyone involved in a dispute about family matters including husbands and wives, registered civil partners, unmarried couples and grandparents.
For more information about the Collaborative Law process please contact Lorna Sear or Paul Cobb at Rothera Dowson without obligation on
0800 068 4210 or by e-mail.
